The accommodations that make up your trip are an independent selection set up by our team. We don’t have contracts with hotels, only the regular quality of their services influence our choices. With a focus on small-scale accommodation, we are looking for family-friendly establishments with a warm atmosphere and a comfortable, carefully decorated layout. On our catalog offers, all the establishments are visited regularly by our team to check the consistency of the service. We are particularly attentive to the welcome given to cyclists and bicycle tourists.
Our selections are grouped into different ranges. They meet our destinations offer as well as your desires and budgets.

Essential range

You want to enjoy our itineraries without frills, the essential range offers simple accommodation offering a good night’s rest: unclassified hotel, simple guest house, lodge, hostel.

Bed & Breakfast range

Another way to travel, to meet the locals. They receive you at home and offer you the lodging and a meal *. The opportunity to exchange to deepen your knowledge of the region. A charming selection that gives you privacy.

Comfort range

Our quality standard at Abicyclette. This range includes 2 and 3 star hotels. Some stages may have certified guest houses. You benefit from a double room with private bathroom and a reception adapted to cyclists’ needs.

A guide welcomes you at the start of your trip to bring you all the practical and tourist information needed. He will be pleased to answer all your questions. If he does not accompany you physically, he remains at your disposal by phone for the duration of your stay. You can then get some additional information or ask for help in case of damage.
You leave on the date you want! We check the availability of accommodation and try to ensure your departure.
With us the freedom formula is not a simple circuit on which you are alone and autonomous. The bike has many constraints that we know all too well: mechanics, loss of balance, climatic conditions, physical abilities …
That’s why, even in freedom, we accompany you on your journey.

How?

– By a reception by an Abicyclette Guide for about 1 hour on itinerant trips. The regional guides explain how your stay is organized and present you the itinerary in detail. The guide trains you in the basic use of the GPS and gives you the travel documents.
– The first step in our 24/7 support is a phone call. We try to bring you all the additional emergency information you need. On a case-by-case basis, depending on the urgency and constraints, we can initiate procedures for booking a service provider (example: taxi). In more important incidents, being immobilized (example: mechanical problem), we can intervene or get a service provider to you bring help. Each file is studied on a case by case basis, extra fees for the intervention may be needed.
– By offering all-inclusive formulas that leave you nothing to worry about. That’s what holidays are about!

On the itinerant stages, we transport your luggage from accommodation to accommodation. These transports are carried out by our guides, taxi partners or companies specialized in luggage transport.

In order to respect your sleeping time and enjoy the comfort of your accommodations, our luggage transport service only takes place between 10am and 4pm. So you get up without haste. If the day is a little wet, you find your suitcase already waiting for you in the following accommodation.

A luggage tag is provided for each suitcase. We ask you to hang it visibly and to simply write your name on it.

Our team welcomes you and accompanies you throughout your trip. Troubleshooting, refueling, advice, we guarantee a full assistance service. Supervision is provided by a certified  guide, bike tourism and sports travel professional. The guide tells you the stories and secrets of the places you cross. He takes you on the roads to meeting people and their territory.

Guided holidays are full board (unless otherwise requested). The lunches are taken outdoors. We prepare varied picnics using quality products. They include seasonal crudités, carbs (in mixed salads), local cold cuts, cheese and other dairy products, bread, seasonal fruits, cakes and dried fruits, chocolate … We take care to include dietary products to meet your energy costs on these meals ; but also local products to vary the pleasures and make rich gastronomic discoveries. In the evening, you join a recommended table for the city stage. Fine cuisine and / or local cuisine for gourmet or more sport oriented menus. Varied and hearty breakfasts each morning.

With the exception of a few trips, the guided offers are reserved for groups. The trip is organized on demand.

Individuals, families, groups, CE, TO…
Our clients travel individually or in groups. Whatever your level, your desires, your budget, our job is to offer you the trip that corresponds to your expectations and traits.

Individuals:
From 2 people, you can leave on the date of your choice on all freedom offers. Hosted in a double room, you benefit from all our services.
Solo trips are available on request. We then establish a personalized quote.
If you are four or more people, contact us for a personalized quote.

Families:
We welcome families on our trip thanks to adapted accommodation and equipment. In a family room or separate rooms, you can travel with children of all ages. At your disposal, we offer helmets, seats, trailers, tow bars, bicycles to ensure comfort and safety for the whole family.

Groups:
With friends, clubs, associations, works councils, we offer tailor-made packages tailored to your needs. Contact us to study your project. Every year we organize day to week packages for several dozen groups like yours.

Specialists and producers from all the French regions that we propose here, we are your privileged partner. If you are looking for a local player who can welcome and assist your customers, you want to develop your sales through new product offers, our team is at your service to build together a lasting partner relationship.

MTB
Seasoned sportsmen, you like the challenges and / or are passionate about outdoors sport activities. The TERRAVTT trips propose 35 to 60 km stages privileging the technical and fun paths, without neglecting the panoramic and tourist attractions.

ROAD BIKE
Echappée Cycliste offers unique on-road itineraries for the real “Rouleurs” & “Baroudeurs”, lovers of the great stages of legends. Average level: 90 to 170KM per day.

Every year, up to 1/3 of our travelers discover for the first time the pleasure of cycling holidays. Rest assured, there is no need to know how to climb the Tourmalet to enjoy this type of holiday. An active person in his daily life can easily travel 40km per day.

If you have not practiced sports for a few years, nothing like the holidays to get started! With trips starting at 20km a day, everyone can practice travel cycling.

Furthermore our electric bike rentals now offer the possibility of an authentic activity over several miles, without suffering.

Easy: You occasionally ride your bike to relax and enjoy yourself, on your own or with family and friends. The open air and the gentle transportation the bike offers are a good way to recharge your batteries. Ideal for families with children. You cycle 25 to 40 km a day on flat routes.

Leisure: You occasionally or regularly ride your bike and have experience in cycling for a whole day. You enjoy discovering new territories in a leisurely way. You can ride up to 35 to 55 km a day on relatively flat routes.

Fit: You regularly ride and/or practice a sport. You are accustomed to traveling by bike or wish to try it out. Your physical condition allows you to cover a minimum of 45 to 70 km per day with a little bit of steep routes.

Expert: A long time traveler or experienced cyclist you enjoy travelling by bike. You are able to cycle 60 to 90 km per day. Ideal to discover all the riches the lands you ride through offer. For you, cycling is inseparable from a great holiday!

Special terms for the COVID-19 pandemic

In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, Abicyclette Voyages is adjusting its general terms and conditions.

Abicyclette Voyages commits to reimbursing all sums paid by the customer in the event of cancellation of the stay for one or more of the following reasons:

• Lockdown at the place of the stay
• Lockdown at the clients’ residence
• On presentation of a positive test for COVID-19 (after signing up for the trip)
• On providing proof of being a “close contact” requiring quarantine over the period of the stay
• Prohibition of movement or travel, closing of national borders, forced quarantine on arrival or departure from the territory (from the client’s stay or home)

Accepted payment methods for the payment in 3 to 5 times without fees of your trip:

– Credit Card: by phone with your travel advisor (We accept Visa or Mastercard , we do not accept the following cards: American Express, Maestro, Indigo …)

– Transfer: RIB provided at registration.

For a payment in 3 to 5 times without fees, ask your travel advisor during your registration. Simple and without any additional administrative formalities, your advisor will then detail you the amount and the payment schedule of your purchase.

Particular cases :
* In case of subscription of an insurance (cancellation or multi-risk), the total amount of the cancellation is expected in payment at registration in addition to the minimum amount to be paid.
* In the event of cancellation of your trip, the future deadlines are simply canceled, the deadlines are refunded according to traditional cancellation rules to find on our Terms and Conditions.

Organizer cancellation

ABICYCLETTE reserves the right to cancel the stay in the following cases:
The minimum amount of participants on the offer for the validity of the organization of the stay is not reached.
Payment has not been settled by the client (s) following the schedule established by ABICYCLETTE.
Inability of the  local and / or foreign contributor to ensure the organization of the sold circuit.
Special conditions that could affect the group’s security (meteorology, pandemic, political …); force majeure.
The cancellation for one of these reasons results in a total refund of the paid sum.

Customer cancellation

The customer can cancel his trip at any time after signing the contract of sale of travel.

• In case of cancellation by the client (s), more than 61 days before the start of the program, 5% of the total price of the trip (including options) will be retained with a minimum of 100,00€ per person.
• In case of cancellation by the aforementioned client(s) within 60 days of the first day of the program, 10% of the price of the trip will be retained individually, with a minimum of 120,00€ per person.
• In the event of cancellation by the aforementioned client(s)  within 30 days of the first day of the program, 30% of the price of the trip will be retained individually, with a minimum of 150.00€ per person.
• In the event of cancellation by  the aforementioned client(s) within 10 days of the first day of the program, 45% of the price of the stay will be retained individually.
• In the event of cancellation by  the aforementioned client(s) within 7 days of the first day of the program, 75% of the price of the stay will be retained individually.
• In case of cancellation by  the aforementioned client(s)  within 72 hours of the first day of the program, 100% of the price of the trip will be retained individually.
• In case of no-show of the customers at the departure of the trip, 100% of the price of the trip will be retained individually.

In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, Abicyclette Voyages is adjusting its general terms and conditions.

The reservation of a stay implies the payment of a deposit of 30% of the total amount of the stay (including the circuit and all the subscribed options), except for cancellation or multi-risk insurance which must be paid in full.

In the case of ticket reservation (ferry, train, plane), full payment of these reservations is required upon registration.

The registration form, to be admissible, must be completed by the client with the following minimum information for each participant:

Person to contact in case of emergency
The passport number (except for a trip in the country of his nationality)

Reservation more than 30 days ahead:

A deposit of 30% on booking, at the latest 31 days before the first day of the program, confirms your registration. The balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the first day of the program.

Reservation less than 30 days ahead:

In case of registration less than 30 days from the first day of the program, full payment of the stay must be made to confirm the registration.

Payment choice:

Payment can be made by credit card (online or by phone) or by bank transfer.

After confirming your registration and confirming the availability of your stay, ABICYCLETE drafts a travel sales contract. This one defines the services included in your trip. The contract is sent to you by email. It must be printed and signed and returned to ABICYCLETE, by mail or by post.

Registration for a trip is definitive upon receipt by ABICYCLETE of travel sales contracts duly completed and signed by the designated client(s).
